Matthew C. Kramer (MCK) is an illustrator, cartoonist, writer & performer based in New York, working internationally. They hold an MFA in Literary Arts from Brown University, where they also taught comics & digital writing.
Their work spans illustration, comics & hybrid writing, with publications in The New York Times, The New Yorker, Tin House, The Iowa Review, Electric Literature & Shenandoah Literary Review, among others. Recent commissioned work includes projects for Apple & Rosewood Hotels.
They have received grants, fellowships & residencies from institutions including Yaddo, the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts, the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts & international programs in Asia & Europe.
